Faye Walker
Faye Walker is a Test Engineer at TomTom, acting as lead physiology consultant in the development and testing of sport GPS devices.
Prior to working at TomTom, Faye worked for Lucozade Ribena Suntory as a Sport Scientist providing advice on training and nutritional strategies to a variety of different athletes. Faye also spent time at Durham University completing a Strength and Conditioning internship where she worked alongside talent identification projects and assisted in the physical preparation of national and international athletes.
Faye previously studied at Bangor University, where she gained a BSc in Sport Science before going on to complete an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology. During this time, she co-authored research focusing on methods in which to reduce exercise heat stress.
Faye discovered cycling in her early teens when her Dad bought a road bike for them to share! Faye went on to race for Raleigh Women’s Cycling Team and currently rides for her local club, WyndyMilla. Faye is still happiest when back home in Norfolk, pedalling around the country lanes in search of a good café.
